Peace Direct believes in the power of local peace builders. Peace Direct finds individuals and organisations that live and work in conflict areas and have the local knowledge to support peace building projects. People who understand why the conflict started, who’s involved, and what the local community needs are more able to come up with long lasting peace resolutions.
Peace Direct only supports groups that are non-partisan and provide funding where is it needed and will have a tangible effect on the ground. Peace Direct will also promote the work of peace builders to governments, international organisations and other charities.
