No Women No Peace

The No women, no peace campaign will launch on the 15th October at the Frontline Club, London.  Join us from 6.30pm for music, drinks, art and comedy. Find out more about the campaign, hear from some inspiring speakers and take the first No women, no peace campaign actions.

10 years ago the UK supported Resolution 1325, an extraordinary UN resolution that states that women must be involved in building peace from the earliest stages. However, a decade later women are still not seeing any changes.

Women want to speak out and be heard. They are a necessary resource for building peaceful societies in the long term. Women provide vital insights into community security, can advance dialogue and support national recovery.

This campaign is being launched by GAPS (Gender Action for Peace and Security) based in the UK.
