In Pictures: Fleeing drought, arriving to rain

First hand account from Mogadishu

A huge displaced people reached Mogadishu fleeing two consecutive droughts affecting their regions; past two sessions did not get an adequate rain.

After they reached Mogadishu they only get small assistance from the community but this is not enough they need further assistance from the international community. Mogadishu these days are rainy meanwhile these displaced people encounter harms. They don’t have food, shelter, latrines and clean water, they sleep on the streets or in destroyed buildings.

If these displaced people will not get assistance immediately they will suffer from hunger.
