Sudan: War and Independence
This short film is from the People and Power programme by Al Jazeera. There is limited access to the Southern Kordofan region of Sudan for journalist, but this is some rare footage from the area.
Southern Kordofan lies on the border between North and South Sudan, and there are continued disputes over the oil-rich region.
